Cherry Chapstick

So I just got home from working out, as well as swimming with Blaine. They've had our pool closed all week so it has sucked. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than jumping in the pool after working out for an hour.

Blaine and I have been playing Splinter Cell Chaos Theory obsessivley for the past couple of days and once I am done with this post I am going to make some dinner and then play!

Blaine's birthday is coming up and I am so excited! This year is going to be awesome and I'm just so happy with him. It's kind of nice not being typical for our age I guess. I mean, we still do things our age, but our lives aren't filled with so much drama and bs...at least not with each other. There will always be drama and there will always be bs, but at least I have him to turn to when things get tough.

I'm just trying to look towards the future and get excited about it. I'm losing weight, moving to California and FINALLY starting my career for singing in the land of Hollywouldnot.

=)

Oh and Katy Perry is my new hero. Legitimately, her music is beyond amazing and I will definitely be picking up her record when it "drops".

Thank you Blaine. =)

It is very windy outside...

It's about 4pm, Blaine and I just got back a little while ago from working out. I love working out, it makes you feel like you can conquer anything. I love the 'high' you get after working out, when all of your endorphines are going. I have been working out again...since May 13th so going for about 3 weeks solid. I have been working out 4-5 times a week. I do 40 minutes of cardio (on the eliptical mostly, but sometimes I will switch it up to running on the treadmill or using the bike) then I will go and do a little bit of strength training...lifting some weights, doing sit ups and leg lifts. I'm not really too into strength training yet...I want to lose the weight and then tone up. I have done this before, I just need to stick to it. It's always harder for me because of my thyroid issue. I don't eat bad...I stick to organics, lean meats and veggies. Also, I will eat whole grains in moderation and no soda. On special occasions I may have a pop, but you've gotta splurge every once in awhile. =)

Speaking of food, I have yet to eat today. Not on purpose, I've just been very busy so far. I think I'm going to make a greek salad, it's the best! Tonight for dinner I am going to make grilled chicken in a roasted garlic marinade, with a red potato and salad. Mmmm, so good.

I'm really happy that I got my "office" up and running. By office I mean, my desk, computer and new chair (from Ikea which I am obsessed with) set up in our bedroom. Like I mentioned yesterday, we did some decorating and cleaning up. I did decide to put up some posters, I'm tired of looking at them in the closet.

Also, last night was awesome. Blaine and I got some chips and salsa (organic chips with fresh salsa, diced) and played board games for a couple of hours. Everything from Break the Ice, to Up Words! Then we were playing Soldat on our computers against each other haha After that I read for a little bit on the couch and ended up falling asleep. I woke up around 4 am to Blaine on the floor messing with the xbox. We went to bed and that was that....not much else to write about. =)

I think that I am going to go for now, I am hungry so Blaine and I are going to have some lunch/early dinner? Plus we want to play some more Soldat!

Keep it real kids.

The pictures you took, that cover your room, and it was just like the sun...but more like the moon

You can never go wrong with Mae lyrics. So today is Blaine's day off and we are cleaning like crazy. Not really cleaning, but more like straightening out our apartment, setting up our computer desks (we just got the internet...our own this time, not knocking off others haha) and it's getting cozier. I want to put up posters and stuff, but I'm not sure if there is even a point due to the fact we are out of here come August 12th.

Today is going to be a good day. After this we are going to go workout and then go swimming...after that, I believe we are going to take a trip to Barnes and Noble, then go to a park and draw. =)

Last night was awesome, we just lit candles and laid down listening to music. Music is seriously better than any pill, drug, or form of alcohol. It is the best form a therapy.

I don't have too much to write about, I need to get back to helping Blaine...even though 10 bucks says he is sitting on the other computer trying to mess with it. =)

Memorial Day and I am at work...not getting time and a half. Also, since Blaine has been here longer, he was lucky enough to get the day off. All is well though, he is at home cleaning and doing laundry. =)

Work has been so boring today, not very many calls to take. I'm looking forward to tonight because it is Monday which means 2 things...one, it is my weekend, seeing as I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. The second thing I am looking forward to, is 99 cent bowling tonight. It's going to be awesomeeee.

So I started to work out again about two weeks ago and it is going...how do you say...superbly? I feel great and more energetic, plus I am back on track to my goal. Another awesome thing is that I have Blaine's support. He keeps me going, very encouraging. Not only that, but he actually works out alongside me so it definitely helps my mentality on working out, plus it makes the bond we have stronger.

Only 5 1/2 more hours until I am out of here! Hopefully they will offer e-time (they send out emails for people who want to leave early and excuse it). I'm thinking I am going to rent Mario Kart for the wii wii tonight.

I don't really have much to say, but if I think of more, I will post later. Oh and I probably will anyway, considering I have a shit load of new pictures. =)

The sky never looked so blue...

I have decided to start a blog. What makes a person decide that they are going to start a blog? Maybe it's because all of the cool kids are doing it...maybe it's because Carrie on Sex and the City does it...or maybe I need another source of 'out' if you will.

I figure that since I will be moving in just a couple of months, this is a good way to keep up with what everyone is doing and how things are going. Writing letters or making phone calls are so 2. NO. =)

Yesterday was a pretty rad day. It started out by Blaine adopting us a new kitten! Her name is Bella Blue (that was her adoptive name and since she was used to it, we decided not to change it). She is a cute little gray kitten who is just so full of love. We have had for only one day and I am already so attached to her. We have three other cats, Gia, Harvey, and Audrey. They are all adapting to her nicely which saves me the stress and trouble of getting them together.

Yesterday was also Jenna's baby shower. It was such a cute event, very intimate and genuine. It was so nice seeing her and Justin so happy, they were both glowing like crazy! They received a lot of nice gifts, very thoughtful ones as well, and let's just say their baby is going to be pretty fashionable. ♥ I was also able to see Kristin and Colin as well, which was really nice. Unfortunately, I have been unable to see my friends as much as I would like to, due to growing up and trying to get out of here.

That brings me to my next topic. Within 3 o 4 months, we will be in Los Angeles, California. Blaine and I both want to make it in the music biz (I sing, he plays guitar/writes/sound engineering). Most people who know me, know my stance on this subject so there really isn't a need to go into it much more. We just want to be in a more inspirational place. Somewhere the people appreciate music and shows are happening constantly. I think of Arizona as being a party state, given that is what most teens our age do...shop and have parties. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that, but it just isn't for us. We want to go where the music is at.

I will post pictures later of our cats, especially our new little one. For now, I will just end with a picture of the most badass- epic proportions. Enjoy.
